Socrates said that the unexamined life is not worth living. Ironically, I have examined my life on many occasions and determined that my life was not worth living after careful examination. There were times I looked at my past and examined the struggles I faced on a daily basis. Doing so left me without hope and a desire to bring an end to it all.
